Phone Rental Terms & Conditions

These Phone Rental Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all device rental services provided by Mister Mobile. By renting a device from Mister Mobile, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
These Phone Rental Terms and Conditions operate together with Mister Mobile’s Payment Policy, Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy. In the event of any inconsistency, these Phone Rental Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency for matters relating specifically to phone rental services.
- Rental Period
- Rental duration is fixed and agreed at the point of rental.
- Early returns do not qualify for partial refunds unless otherwise agreed in advance.
- Devices returned after the agreed return date and time are subject to additional rental charges, calculated on a daily basis for each calendar day or part thereof.
- Extensions must be confirmed before the original due date. Where no extension is confirmed in advance, standard late return charges apply.
- Payment & Security Deposit
- Rental fees and security deposits must be paid via Cash or PayNow (UEN) only.
- The security deposit is collected to cover potential loss, damage, or outstanding charges arising during the rental period.
- Where a rented device is lost, stolen, or not returned, the security deposit will be applied toward the cost of the device.
- Where repair, replacement, or other applicable costs exceed the security deposit amount, the renter remains responsible for settling the outstanding balance.
- Condition of Device & Accessories
- All rented devices and accessories are issued in verified working condition at the point of rental.
- Rented devices must be returned in the same condition as when issued, based on the condition recorded at the point of rental.
- The renter is responsible for the condition and safekeeping of the device and accessories throughout the rental period.
- Any damage identified upon return will be assessed, and applicable repair or replacement costs may be deducted from the security deposit.
- All accessories provided (including but not limited to chargers and cases) must be returned. Missing or damaged accessories may result in additional charges.
- Usage Responsibilities
- Rented devices must be used responsibly and in accordance with normal consumer use throughout the rental period.
- Devices must not be modified, tampered with, resold, pledged, or used for unlawful purposes.
- The renter is responsible for avoiding exposure to water, excessive heat, impact, or other conditions that may cause damage.
- Inspection Upon Return
- All returned devices and accessories are subject to inspection upon return.
- Condition assessments are conducted based on the device condition at the time of rental and the findings upon return.
- Mister Mobile’s assessment will be used to determine any applicable charges, deductions, or adjustments.
- Refunds are issued only after a satisfactory inspection has been completed.
- For the purpose of the rental transaction, Mister Mobile’s inspection findings and condition assessment shall be considered final.
- Refund of Security Deposit
- Cash payments: Refunds will be issued upon return of the device and completion of a satisfactory inspection.
- PayNow (UEN) payments: Refunds will be processed within 2–3 working days following successful inspection, subject to internal finance processing timelines.
- All payment matters are governed by Mister Mobile’s Payment Policy.
- Data & Personal Information
- Rented devices may contain pre-installed software or system settings.
- The renter is fully responsible for backing up, removing, and managing any personal data, accounts, or applications used during the rental period.
- Mister Mobile is not responsible for any loss of data, accounts, or information that occurs during or after the rental period.
- Right to Refuse or End Rental
- Mister Mobile reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or end a rental and request the return of the device if the renter fails to comply with these Terms or uses the device irresponsibly.
- Amendments to These Terms
- Mister Mobile may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Revised terms will take effect upon publication with a new Effective Date and will apply to future rental transactions only, unless otherwise stated. In the event of any discrepancy, the version published on the official Mister Mobile website shall prevail.
