Repair Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 30 January 2026
These Repair Terms and Conditions apply to all repair services provided by Mister Mobile Trading Pte Ltd (“Mister Mobile”). By submitting a device for repair, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
These Repair Terms and Conditions operate together with Mister Mobile’s Warranty Policy, Terms and Conditions, and Payment Policy. In the event of any inconsistency, these Repair Terms and Conditions shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency for matters relating to repair services.
1. Scope of Services
- Mister Mobile generally provides repair services for mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, and other related electronic devices, subject to service feasibility and Mister Mobile’s assessment.
- Service feasibility is determined based on the device condition and the availability of replacement parts.
- Replacement parts are subject to availability and may not be in stock for all device models. Where required parts are unavailable or deemed unsuitable, Mister Mobile may, at its discretion, offer a pre-order option.
- Pre-ordered parts typically require approximately two (2) weeks for procurement, subject to supplier availability and confirmation and delivery timelines.
2. Diagnostics & Quotation
- Diagnostics are provided free of charge.
- All quotations are estimates based on the device condition at the time of assessment.
- If additional faults are discovered during repair, Mister Mobile will seek your approval before proceeding.
- Devices deemed non-repairable will be returned without any diagnostic charges.
- All repair assessments, diagnostics, and technical determinations made by Mister Mobile shall be considered final for the purposes of the repair service.
3. Customer Responsibilities (Data, Privacy & Device Security)
Before submitting your device for repair, you are responsible for ensuring the following:
- Mister Mobile is not responsible for any data loss that may occur during the repair process. You are strongly advised to back up all personal data before submitting your device.
- You are responsible for removing sensitive information or enabling Maintenance/Repair Mode. Where available (e.g., Apple Repair Mode, Samsung Maintenance Mode, Android Repair Mode), you are encouraged to activate these modes before handing over your device.
- Mister Mobile does not access personal content (such as photos, messages, or files) beyond what is strictly necessary for functional testing or troubleshooting.
- Your information is collected solely for repair, warranty, and communication purposes.
- Mister Mobile does not store personal data after the repair is completed.
- Technicians may require your device password to complete essential diagnostic and functionality tests. If the password is not provided, certain functions cannot be tested and warranty coverage may be limited.
4. Parts & Labour
- Mister Mobile offers a range of parts including original where available and high-quality third-party replacements.
- Unless otherwise stated, replacement parts are third-party components and not manufactured by the original device brand.
- Labour charges apply only to successfully completed repairs and are included in the quoted price agreed by the customer.
- Part availability differs by model, and certain repairs may require parts to be pre-ordered. You must confirm your preferred part type before repair begins.
5. Independent Repair Provider (IRP) Notice
- Mister Mobile is an authorised independent repair provider for certain device brands and may perform out-of-warranty repairs using brand-approved tools, diagnostics, and genuine parts where applicable. Such repairs are carried out in accordance with the applicable independent repair provider program procedures.
- For repairs performed using genuine parts under an independent repair provider program, all replaced parts must be returned to Mister Mobile and are not returnable to customers, in accordance with program requirements.
6. Repair Risks & Limitations
6.1 Disclaimer of Repair Outcomes
- Successful repair cannot be guaranteed, particularly for devices with underlying or pre-existing damage.
- Mister Mobile is not responsible for data loss, additional malfunction in aged devices, or issues arising from pre-existing faults or third-party accessories including but not limited to prior water damage, motherboard degradation, battery wear, or previously repaired components.
6.2 High-Risk Repairs
- Water-damaged, bent, swollen-battery, or previously repaired devices carry a higher risk of complications during repair.
- Repairs on such devices may have limited success due to hidden motherboard or internal component damage.
- By approving the repair, you expressly acknowledge and accept these risks and agree that Mister Mobile shall not be liable for any unsuccessful outcome, additional faults, or deterioration arising from such high-risk repairs.
6.3 Water Resistance & Post-Repair Limitations
- For repairs involving device opening, part replacement, resealing, or water-damage-related work, devices that were originally marketed as water-resistant or waterproof may no longer retain the same level of water resistance after repair.
- By approving and proceeding with such repair services, you acknowledge and agree that Mister Mobile does not guarantee any level of water resistance or waterproof performance after repair, regardless of the device’s original specifications or certifications.
- Any liquid or water damage occurring after repair is not covered under Mister Mobile’s repair warranty. Repairs may also affect the applicability of the original manufacturer warranty, for which Mister Mobile bears no responsibility.
This disclosure is provided to ensure transparency and to assist you in making an informed decision before proceeding with the repair.
7. Repair Warranty
- All warranty matters for repair services, including coverage, exclusions, and warranty duration, follow Mister Mobile’s Warranty Policy.
- Warranty applies only to the part replaced and the workmanship involved.
- Warranty claims are subject to verification based on Mister Mobile’s service records or proof of repair.
8. Payment for Repair Services
- Payment is required for all completed repair services based on the quotation agreed by the customer.
- Payment is required upon completion of the repair, unless otherwise stated.
- All payment-related matters follow Mister Mobile’s Payment Policy.
9. Cancellation Policy
- You may cancel a repair before work begins at no charge.
- Once work has started, certain repairs may not be reversible.
- Specially ordered parts are strictly non-refundable once ordered. By approving a repair involving pre-ordered parts, you acknowledge and accept the estimated procurement timeline and agree to this non-refundable condition.
10. Device Collection, Storage & Disposal
- You are required to collect your device within a reasonable period after being notified that it is ready.
- Faulty or unrepaired devices that are not collected within 90 days may be disposed of after reasonable attempts to contact you.
- Mister Mobile shall not be responsible for any loss or damage resulting from such disposal.
11. Limitation of Liability
- Mister Mobile’s total liability is limited to the value of the repair service provided.
- Mister Mobile is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. This limitation does not affect your rights under Mister Mobile’s repair warranty.

- You must allow technicians to perform repairs without interference or excessive distraction.
- Repairs may be halted or cancelled if technician safety, concentration, or working conditions are compromised.
- Repeated failure to respond or repeated cancellations may result in Mister Mobile refusing future doorstep repair bookings.
