Important Things to Know For Repair
Back Up Your Data
While I handle your device with care, some repairs involve hardware replacement or system work.
Because of this, I strongly recommend backing up your data before repair.
In most cases your data remains safe, but having a backup is always the best protection.
Remove Accessories Before Repair
Before dropping off your device, please remove any phone case, cover, or accessories.
This helps me work on your device safely and avoids any accidental damage to your items.
Keeping Your Data Safe During Repair
Your privacy matters to me.
For some devices, I may activate Maintenance Mode before starting the repair. This allows me to test your device properly while keeping your personal data protected.
If your device requires this step, I will guide you through it during the check-in process. It only takes a moment.
Passcode Access (When Required)
To ensure a successful repair, I will need to test certain device features such as:
- Touchscreen
- Camera
- Sensors
- Connectivity
- Face ID
If necessary, I may request temporary access to your device to verify that everything works correctly after the repair.
Your privacy is always respected, and access is used only for testing purposes.
If you would prefer not to share your passcode, that is completely fine, it may just take a little longer to complete testing.
Collect Your Belongings Before You Leave
Before leaving my shop, please take a quick moment to remove and collect everything you brought in:
- SIM card
- phone case
- chargers or cables
- other accessories
Small items can sometimes be forgotten during repairs, so I always remind customers before they leave.
If testing is required, I may use a Mister Mobile SIM card during the repair process.
Water Resistance
Many modern devices come with water-resistant seals.
However, any repair that requires dismantling the device may affect this water resistance.
After repair, I recommend avoiding water exposure and handling your device with extra care.
Manufacturer Warranty
If your device is still under the manufacturer warranty, please note that third-party repairs may affect that warranty.
If you are unsure, feel free to ask me, I will always guide you on the best option.
Warranty for My Repairs
I stand by the quality of my repairs.
Most repairs come with a warranty covering the replaced component, so you can have peace of mind.
If something does not feel right after your repair, simply come back and I will check it for you.
My goal is always the same: Fix it properly the first time.
My Promise to You
Repairing devices is something I do every day, and I take that responsibility seriously as part of my Mister Mobile Promise to you.
When you bring your device to me, you can expect:
- Honest advice
